At Alcyone Law, we provide clear and transparent pricing. Our fees depend on the complexity of your case and the level of work required. The below provides an indicative guide.
HOURLY RATE
Zahra Mohamed (Solicitor): £400 per hour
Initial Consultation (via video or telephone, up to 1 hour): £200
Initial Consultation (face-to-face, up to 1 hour): £240
WHO WILL CARRY OUT THE WORK
Your matter will be handled by Zahra Mohamed. Principal Solicitor with over 10 years’ experience in immigration law. Zahra Mohamed will have day-to-day conduct of your case and will be your primary point of contact.
Where appropriate, we may instruct barristers or other specialist experts to assist with your matter. This will only be done with your prior consent and any additional costs will be discussed and agreed with you in advance.
WHAT OUR FEES INCLUDE
Our services typically include:
- Taking instructions and advising on your matter
- Reviewing supporting documents
- Advising on eligibility and requirements
- Preparing and submitting applications
- Drafting legal representations and statements
- Liaising with the Home
- Office or third parties
- Keeping you updated throughout your case
Our fees do not include:
- Home Office application fees
- Immigration Health Surcharge
- Barrister fees
- Expert fees (including medical, country or other specialist reports)
- Translation or interpreter costs
TIMESCALES
Most applications are prepared within 4–5 working days once all required documents are received.
Processing times are determined by the Home Office, the Courts or Tribunals and will vary depending on the nature of the matter.
Estimated processing times for immigration applications can be found on the UK Government website (www.gov.uk).
In some circumstances, it may be possible to purchase a priority or super priority service from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) to expedite a decision. This is subject to availability and depends on the type of application. Additional fees apply and will be discussed with you where appropriate.

Our fees depend on several factors including complexity, urgency, volume of documentation, and any adverse immigration history.
Our fees do not include disbursements such as Home Office fees, court fees, Immigration Health Surcharge, translation fees, interpreter fees, barrister fees or expert fees. These will be discussed and agreed with you in advance.
Alcyone Law Ltd is not VAT registered. VAT is therefore not currently charged on our fees.
The outcome of any application is determined by the Home Office or relevant authority. While we provide expert legal advice and representation, we cannot guarantee a successful outcome.
