Zahra Mohamed is the Founder, Director and Principal Solicitor of Alcyone Law, a specialist UK immigration law firm. With over a decade of post-qualification experience, she brings extensive expertise in complex immigration matters, strategic legal advice and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of client care.

Having commenced her legal career in 2012 and qualified as a solicitor in August 2015, Zahra has established a practice advising high-profile individuals, high-net-worth clients, entrepreneurs, corporate clients and families on a broad spectrum of UK immigration and nationality matters.

Her expertise encompasses business immigration, sponsor licensing and compliance, Skilled Worker and Global Talent applications, family migration, settlement, British nationality, asylum, human rights, appeals and judicial review.

Zahra has extensive experience handling complex, high-value and sensitive immigration matters, including cases involving prominent individuals and clients whose personal or commercial circumstances demand a particularly discreet and strategic approach. She combines meticulous legal analysis with sound commercial judgement, delivering tailored, solutions-focused advice while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Before founding Alcyone Law, Zahra held senior positions within the legal profession, including serving as a director of a London law firm and subsequently as a Senior Immigration Solicitor. These roles strengthened her expertise in legal practice management, regulatory compliance, supervision, business development and client relationships.

In May 2026, she established Alcyone Law with a clear vision: to create a specialist immigration practice combining the technical excellence and professionalism of an established firm with the discretion, accessibility and personalised attention of a boutique legal service.

Outside her professional commitments, Zahra enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, travelling and exploring different cultures. She is passionate about fitness, swimming and baking, and has a particular appreciation for Middle Eastern cuisine.
