Bringing Family Together During a Difficult Time
Background
We were instructed by two clients seeking to bring their elderly father to the United Kingdom following the recent passing of their mother in Pakistan, so the family could spend time together during a period of bereavement.
The Challenge
The application was particularly complex. The client had previously been refused a visit visa on three occasions, and concerns had been raised about his ties to his home country, as his children were settled in the UK. The family had been advised that this may be their final opportunity to secure a visa.
Our Approach
We provided clear and realistic advice from the outset, ensuring expectations were properly managed. A detailed review of the previous refusals was undertaken to identify the key concerns raised by the Home Office, allowing us to directly address those issues in a carefully prepared application.
The Outcome
The visit visa was successfully granted. The family was able to come together in the United Kingdom during a deeply difficult time, providing much-needed support and connection.
